1. 1.Shut off the water sourceif it's safe to do so (main valve, supply line, breaker for flooded electrical).
2. 2.Photograph everything before you move it — insurance claims need pre-cleanup documentation.
3. 3.Call the number above. Mold can begin growing within 24–48 hours per IICRC S520; speed matters.
4. 4.Notify your insurer separately. Keep receipts for anything you buy to mitigate further damage.
